The Most important OG Graffiti Artists Of My Lifetime
Dedicated to all the homies who share my love for making great experiences for people, by the people. I started my journey with these talented heroes and happy to say that they are still with me. These artists supply the imagery for my social posts, personal branding and dope swag that i give to audiences when at speaking engagements. Just keeping it real here…… without them and their love, support and education, I may have never made it from street corner to where I am today. #muchlove #muchrespect
Zoom One :
A original graffiti homie who over time developed a unique style of vector design that is unrivaled by most technical artists around the globe. Here’s how to reach him: http://www.vincentcreative.net/
Tuke/ DF Crew:
Tuke is an OG and Pioneer who ushered in an entirely new generation of graffiti artists who set the bar high so that all that followed him truly understood what it means to “take it to the next level.” Not to mention his street cred puts him in a category of his own. A truly untouchable King within the graffiti universe. Here’s how to reach him: https://www.instagram.com/tukeone
Jher’s technique, style and prowess are unmatched. He’s a legend in my mind. I had to include two photos here in an effort to simply pay homage to the lifetime of dedication and leadership he’s provided to the graffiti community. There’s not a day that goes by that someone somewhere doesn’t say “I wish I could paint like that dude.” It’s a real honor to be one of his lifelong homies. Here’s how to reach him: https://www.instagram.com/jher451/
One of the first homies I ever considered to be a friend and mentor. EyeSix still to this day moderates one of the worlds leading graffiti battle forums and holds the esteemed positions of both original graffiti Pioneer and current day Battle Master and that’s not easy to do over the course of 30 years. Out of shear respect for his accomplishments for his dedication to the community that I forgive him for “that one time” he made us jump off a train going 30MPH in at the end of the train yards……I’m still recovering from all the road rash.
Xhar, was one of the first cats I took under my wing and taught the practice, knowledge and ways of graffiti and he’s taught those lessons to to writers all across the country for the last 30 years. An ever evolving style and mastery of the spray can have earned him a definite place in the hall of fame. Damn. I’d be willing to go out on the ledge here and say he set the bar forever with tagging. His tag alone was a style masterpiece.
Shouts out to the other homies who want to be down with contributing. If you want to get posted up on this page just hit me up in the comments and I’ll make it happen. These are just the homies who I’m regularly hooking up with and so started with them. Word up. #peace.
